The largest fruit mosaic consisted of 372,525 fruits, measured 2,220 m?(23,895.79 ft?)and was created for the Fourth Navel Orange Tourism Festival of Pingyuan County by the Pingyuan County Committee of the Communist Party of China and People?s Government of Pingyuan County in Pingyuan County, Guangdong Province, China, on 1 December 2008.

The Public Notary office of Pingyuan County helped adjudicator Angela Wu count the number of fruits used and then measure the area of the mosaic. The mosaic consisted of 349,200 navel oranges, 18,172 apples and 5,153 pomelos. It is 60 m long and 37 m wide, with a total area of 2,220 m?.More than 1,000 students from Pingyuan Middle School took part in building the mosaic.
