The largest game of Chinese whispers involved 1,330 children and was organised by BI Worldwide Ltd at The Emirates Stadium, London, United Kingdom, on 11 July 2008.

The event was organised by BI Worldwide Ltd in order to raise GBP100,000 for Save the Children and TreeHouse.

The children who participated were between 7-11 years old from schools across the UK.

The original sentence was “Together we can make a world of difference” which changed to “We’re going to break a world record” to “Everybody is evil” and ended simply as “Haaaaa!”

It took 2 hr 4 min for the whisper to go from the first participant to the last participant.
