The largest gathering of dancing dragons consisted of 88 dragons and was achieved by Hong Kong Dragon and Lion Festival Preparatory Committee (Hong Kong) in Hong Kong, China, on 1 January 2012.

The attempt took place to celebrate the year of the dragon and required 1,087 people to operate the 88 dragons.
