The largest gathering of people dressed as Mohandas Gandhi is 2,955 and was achieved by Sowdambikaa Group of Schools (India) in Tiruchirappalli, India, on 11 October 2013.

The aim of this record was to celebrate the life and teachings of Ghandi. All of the participants were schoolchildren who ranged in age from kindergarten to senior year.
