The largest hair clippers in the world, unveiled on 16 July 2004, was built on Discovery Channel’s BIG! television show and measure 16 ft 0.5 in (4.88 m) long, 4 ft 6 in (1.36 m) wide and 3 ft 1.75 in (95 cm) tall.

To test that the hair clippers were fully functional they were used to trim trees in an orange grove in California. The blade was 4 ft 6 in wide while the leaver to turn them on measured 3 ft 10 in!
