The largest helicopter formation involved 16 Breda Nardini NH-500-E helicopters that were flown over Frosinone Airbase (Italy) forming the number ’72’ by the Italian Air Force, 72nd Wing.

The event was to commemorate the naming of the wing after Sergeant Pilot Marcella De Salvia, who holds the highest Italian award fro bravery, the gold medal for military valour.
