The world record for the largest horn spread (Texas Longhorn) measured a total length of 251 cm (98.8 in) in July 2002. The horns belong to Jim Williams (USA) of Midland, Texas, USA.

When measured vertically in a straight line from the ground to the base of the horn, one was 128.2 cm (50.5 in) and the other 122.8 cm (48.3 in).
