The largest human image of a torch consisted of 1,538 participants and was organised by Mr. Bakuleshbhai R. Gupta Founder Chairman of BRG Charitable Trust and BRG Sports – Culture and Education Forum (both India), in Akota Stadium, Vadodara, India, on 12 January 2013.

The participants were made up from two different schools and stood in formation for a total of 8 minutes.
