Largest kimono

The largest kimono was created by Eiko Kobayashi which was presented at the Kimononoyakata Marusan, in Fukushima, Iwaki, Japan, on 22 October 2011. The kimono was 18.36 m (60.24 ft) wide, 16.35 m (53.64 ft) high.

The kimono was measured using a laser measure and was raised by a crane after the adjudication. The size of the kimono was intended to fit the robot “Gundam”. It took 15 workers one year to create the kimono.
