The largest prostate cancer screening involved 988 participants at an event organised by the Prostate Cancer Centre (Canada) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on 21 September 2011.

The screening was done via blood drawn from each participant. Each blood sample underwent a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test, higher levels of which detect prostate cancer in the patient.
