The largest raft of canoes and kayaks consisted of 1,902 boats and was achieved at the event “One Square Mile of Hope”. The event was sponsored by the Central Adirondack Paddlers Society (CAPS, USA) and took place on Fourth Lake in Inlet, New York, USA, on 24 September 2011.

The event raised funds for Susan G. Komen, a grassroot organization raising money for the research and awareness of the prevention of breast cancer.
