The largest seed mosaic measured 220 m² (2,368.06 ft²) and was created by employees of Monsanto, at Club Med, Angra dos Reis, Brazil, on 30 November 2011.
Just over 200 employees took part in creating the mosaic that represented Dekalb one of their brands of corn, it took under 2 hours. They were divided into small groups to work on a part of the mosaic on 1m2 boards, once finished all 220 boards were then joined together to form the mosaic. They used two varieties of seed, soy and corn, painted various colours.
