Local buffalo meat was used for the meatballs. Other ingredients were as follows: buffalo meat 400 kg (882 lb), buffalo milk 30 kg (66 lb), parsley 1.5 kg (3.3 lb), spices 6.3 kg (14 lb), bread crumbs 7.3 kg (16 lb) and onions 50 kg (110 lb).
