The largest song and dance routine was achieved by 4,500 participants at an event organised by the Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department of the Government of Gujarat (India) at Sardar Patel Stadium, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, on 1 May 2011.

The performance was part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the state of Gujarat which was themed around the five elements.
