The largest spoons ensemble consisted of 1,980 participants and was organized by Daito Trust Construction Co. Ltd. (Japan) at the Hawaii Convention Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, on 10 August 2012.

All participants were Japanese either employees of Daito Trust Construction or their family members who traveled to Hawaii for a week of team bonding and to attempt 2 records. The other record attempt was for the Largest body percussion. 2,037 people took place in the event, but 57 were disqualified due to not to fully participate or not to follow the rhythm.
