The largest umbrella dance was achieved by 1,461 participants at an event organised by Global e-Business Operations Centre SRL (Romania) at the Arenele Romane, Bucharest, Romania, on 9 September 2011.

More than twenty supervisors as well as the two independent witnesses were there to closely monitor the record attempt. The participants danced simultaneously for 6.24 minutes.
