The lightest remote-controlled model helicopter is the PicooZ MX-1 by Silverlit Toys Manufactory Ltd. (Hong Kong) it weighs 8 g (0.28 oz) and was manufactured in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

The MX-1 is a smaller version of the previous record holder, the PicooZ. The remote transmitter is also the helicopter’s ‘hanger’ where the helicopter recharges and can be stored when not flying.
