The longest abacus measures 13.11 m (43 ft 0.14 in) and was achieved at an event organized by the Development & Reform Commission of Fuxin Municipal Government in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, China, on 25 October 2009.

The abacus is 12.2 cm (4.8 in ) tall and consists of 570 wooden beams and 3,990 agate beads.
