The longest awareness ribbon chain is 2,397.5 m (7,865 ft 9 in) long and was created by Abu Dhabi Health Services at The Dome@Rawdhat in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 4 December 2013.

The awareness ribbon chain is made up of 35,000 ribbons that have been linked together to raise awareness of the need for Emirati people to join the medical profession. The awareness ribbon chain was made into the shape of a smile.
