The Saemangeum Seawall is located on the south west coast of South Korea. Measuring 33.9 km (21.06 miles) in length, it links up the port of Gunsan city and has created 401 km� (249.18 miles�) of new land for Multifunctional City of the future, High Tech Industrial Complex, Leisure Area, Farmland and etc. The longest dike was built by the Misnistry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Korea Rural Community Corporation and was completed on February 2010.
