Longest forward jump flip / somersault (parkour)

The longest forward jump flip is 5.8 m (19 ft 2 in) by Richard Barnes (USA) at Southlake Gymnastics Academy in Southlake, Texas, USA, on 18 July 2010. Barnes attempted the flip on an FIG competition-certified tumbling floor.

Included among the witnesses were former NCAA Division 1 gymnast Shannon Prince, 15-year gymnastics coach Eric Barnes, 5-year gymnastics instructor Amanda Solomon 18-year fireman Darren Burkhart. Barnes had attempted this record previously and failed for using his hands to stabilize his landing on the floor, a correction which he made for this attempt.
