On 19 October 2002 an unbroken line of firecrackers was detonated in Sueca, Valencia, Spain, measuring 11 km (6.83 miles) long.

The unbroken line of 11 km (6.83 miles) was part of a larger attempt of 21 km (13.04 miles), but the line stopped at the 4 km (2.48 miles), 5 km (3.10 miles) and 10 km (6.21 miles) marks.
