The longest marathon playing curling was 61 hr 39 min 33 sec, and was achieved by a group of 10 players from the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, UK from 1 to 3 March 2012.

Team 1 members were: Graham Sloan, David Owen, Scott Robertson, Graham Black, James Findlay. Representing Team 2 were: Neil Henderson, Stuart Henerson, Duncan Gracie, Ruaraidh Whyte and Chris Jardine.

Team 2 prevailed over Team 1 with a score of 220 – 215
