The longest hula hooping marathon by an individual using a single hoop is 74 hours and 54 minutes and was achieved by Aaron Hibbs (USA) in Columbus, Ohio, USA on 22-25 October 2009.

Aaron had his own news segment on Fox News 28 after the attempt. Over 100 people helped him through the impressive feat and he secured the record after no one had beaten it for 25 years.
