The longest marathon playing indoor bowls is 40 hours and was achieved by Peter Harry, Rob Atkinson, Lyn Atkinson, Lorraine Missingham, Laurie Munro and Liz Munro (all Australia), at the Bridgewater Lake Estate Community Centre in Roxburgh Park, Victoria, Australia, between 17-19 April 2013.

This was the team’s second attempt at breaking the record, having fallen short in an attempt the year before.
