The record for the longest theatre performance marathon is 72 hours, achieved by a team of students of Loyola College (India), who performed 13 plays at the Bertram Hall, Loyola College Campus, Tamil Nadu, India from 19 to 22 September 2006.

The whole attempt was filmed and footage submitted as well as numerous pictures and press articles. They performed 13 bible stories acted out in Tamil language. 12 students took part in the attempt and only one retired before the 72 hours.
