The longest marble run on sand is 150 m (492 ft 2 in) in length and was achieved by Associazione Bibionese Albergatori ABA in Bibione, Italy, on 29 May 2010.
The event was sponsored by UNICEF.
In Italy, marble or ball tracks on the beach are a popular pastime for children and adults alike. The game consists in making a track in the sand by hand and flicking plastic marbles around the track. The first person’s marble to reach the end of the track is the winner.
