The longest pasteli was a melekouni variety dessert and measured 30 m (98 ft 5 in) in length by 20cm (7 inches) in width and was created by twelve chefs in an event organised by the Association for the Development and Progress of the Dodecanese (DETAP) (Greece) at the Mandraki Harbour on the Island of Rhodes, Greece, on 26 September 2010.
The melekouni was made from 60 kg (132 lb) of sesames, 40 kg (88 lb) of honey, 1.5 kg (3 lb) of citrus fruits, and spices.
