The longest picnic line measures 2, 277 metres (7, 470 ft 4 in) and was organised by the City of Kitchener: as part of the Centennial Celebration of Cityhood in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on 15 July 2012.

Approximately 4,000 people particpated in this picnic and ate pizzas, bananas and bearpaws.
