The longest pool toy ever measured 1,609.34 m (5,280 ft) and was made by Industrial Thermo Polymers Ltd of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, on 1 July 2001.
Rob Abramovitch organised the event. Dave Hartman, the owner of Industrial Thermo Polmers Ltd and his son, Steve, built the most advanced equipment in North America for the process of this particular toy. The toy was measured automatically by a device on the machinery as it was processed.
