The longest running weekly interview on a newspaper has been published uninterruptedly by journalist Stefano Lorenzetto on the Italian newspaper Il Giornale from 23 June 1999.

On 20 June 2010 the newspaper celebrated the 500th interview with an interview to the newspaper Editor in Chief Vittorio Feltri. All interviews are featured in a single or double spread in the Sunday Edition of the paper. On 10/6/2011 the number of interviews rose to 546.
