Thomas E. Hawley of Howard, Wisconsin, USA served as Chief of Police for the City of Green Bay from 17 August 1897 to 1 June 1946, a total of 49 years.

He started working for the Green Bay Police in 1893 as a Patrolman, was made captain in 1895 and chief of police in 1897.

He died in 1951.
