The longest string of liquorice measures 519 m (1,702 ft 9 in) and was made by Lakritsfabriken (Sweden) in collaboration with Scandi Candy (Sweden), in Vellinge, Skåne, Sweden, on 4 April 2012.

12 people participated in making the string of liquorice, which took 3 hr 14 min to complete. The liquorice weighed 62 kg after cooking.
