The longest television interview lasted 12 hr 00 min 30 sec and was achieved by Pedro Ruiz (Spain) and Veo7 on the set of 12 horas sin piedad, at Hotel Wellington, Madrid, Spain, from 4-5 July 2009.

Pedro Ruiz fielded questions from a host of Spanish celebrities, including Isabel Gemio, Monica Hoyos and Miguel Angel Almodovar. The attempt was broadcast live on Veo7 from a conference room in the famous Hotel Wellington who boast Spanish and British royalty as former guests.
