The longest wall of fire measured 3,102.35 metres (10,178.3 ft) long and was created by the Marine Corps Community Services (USA) during the 2009 MCAS Yuma Air Show in Yuma, Arizona, USA, on 14 March 2009.
Over 37,000 spectators were on hand to witness the attempt during the air show which was in its 47th year. The wall had an average height of 42.89 metres (140.57 feet).
