The longest windsurfing journey was 8,120 km (5,045 miles) by Flavio Jardim and Diogo Guerreiro (both Brazil) who travelled from Chui to Oiapoque on the Brazillian Coast between 17 May 2004 – 18 July 2005 as part of the Blue Destination Expedition.

The Blue Destination Expedition is a project to raise awareness about sustainable development amongst children.
