The most artists contributing to the same painting simultaneously is 3,867 and was organised by the Ministry of Education and Ms Sumaiah Al Rashidi (both Saudi Arabia), at Alroshn centre, in Hail, Saudi Arabia, on 16 May 2011

The painting measured 20 m (65 ft 7 in) in length and 16.5 m (54 ft) in width. The painting was made up of 110 canvases measuring 2m in length and 1.5 m in width.

The organisers had been planning the event for four months, but the implementation took only just over two hours. 3,867 female students from different schools in Hail city participated. The theme of the painting was Islamic art.
