The record for the most electricity generated by pedalling on bicycles in 24 hours is 26,923.83 watt hours and was achieved by a group led by Brian Cha (Hong Kong) at Olympian City, Hong Kong, China, on 7-8 June 2014.

A total of 21 bicycles were used for this attempt, 13 of which were open to the public, with 8 reserved for various cycling clubs. Brian Cha, on bike number 1, accumulated a total of 1,016.65 watt hours within the 24 hour period.
