The most hydatid cysts removed is 296 by Dr. Prakash Khetan at Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, Allahabad, India, on 13 April 2011.

Cysts were removed from a 10 year old girl.
Official diagnosis: Multiple intracranial hydatid cyst, left parietal & Temporal lobe with intraventricular extension with Mass effect with obstractive hydrocephalous.
Cysts ranged between 0.1 to 6.5 cm (0.04 to 2.56 in) in size.
