The most items washed up in 8 hours is 2,250 and was achieved by Louise Dooey (UK) in the Guinness World Records head office, London, on 10 January 2011.

She systematically washed 450 of each item: dinner plates, bowls, pans, cups and cutlery. As stated in the guidelines, she had to organise the items to ensure that she washed the same amount of each item.
