The most letters to Santa collected in 24 hours is 1,555 letters and was achieved by members of the public in an event organised by Crispy Milky Kids Activities (Latvia) at the Galerija Azur shopping centre in Riga, Latvia, on 11 December 2011.

The messages to Santa, written on a roll, were then collected by Santa himself. The event took place from 2:00 p.m. on 10 December to 2:00 p.m. on 11 December in a shopping mall. Although the event was suspended during the night, the clock marking the countdown never stopped.
