Most Men’s World Pea Shooting Championships won

The most World Pea Shooting Championships won by an individual is seven by Mike Fordham (UK) in 1977-78, 1981, 1983-85 and 1992.

The Championships are held every year in Witcham, Cambridgeshire, England. The skill is to aim at a target, the size of a dart-board and smeared with putty, gaining five points for the inner, three for the middle and one for the outer circle from a distance of 3.2m 10ft 6in. The only rules are that the pea shooter should be no longer than 30.48cm 12in, although in an effort to get back-to-basics  laser-sights were outlawed for the 2002 competition.
