The record for the most people chalk drawing simultaneously involved 5,391 participants, in an event organised by EURÓPA Közhasznú (Hungary) in Andrassy Street, Budapest, Hungary, on 20 September 2009.

The record attempt was made to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment.
