The most skips over a single rope in 3 minutes by a team was 461 and was achieved by 12 pupils from Momoyama Elementary School (Japan) on the set of ‘100 Beautiful Women Who Have Guinness World Records’, at the Shiodome Nihon TV Studios in Tokyo, Japan, on 5 May 2011.

The rope was swung continuously by the pupils’ skipping coaches. The pupils lined up one behind another and on the starting signal each pupil skipped over the rope individually, one after the other. They then reassumed their line up position from the other side and skipped through again, repeating this pattern for the entire 3 minutes. If the pupils broke the rhythm or the rope became caught on them, this skip was discounted but the attempt and the clock continued.
