The oldest woman to climb the Seven Summits including Kosciuszko is Jeanne Stawiecki (USA, b. 24 June 1950), who completed her last climb (Mt Everest, Nepal) on 22 May 2007, aged 57 years and 36 days.

Jeanne is also the First womanto run marathons “and” climb the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Marathons: Soweto(Africa),Miami(North America),Pacifico(South America-Chile),Antarctica,Dubai(Asia),Melbourne(Australia) and Valencia(Europe-Spain).

The Mountains climbed: Elbrus(Europe-Russia), Vinson(Antarctica),Denali(north America),Aconcagua(South America),Kilimanjero(Africa), Kosciuszko(Australia) and Everest (Asia).
