The Evergreen International Aviation Company of the USA has modified a Boeing 747-300 widebody aircraft into a fire fighting aircraft. It has a capacity of 20,500 US gallons (77,600 litres) more than 8 times that of the commonly used P-3A Orion aircraft and is the largest fire fighting aircraft in the world. It was first used operationally in July 2009 to fight huge fires in Cuenca, Spain.
The largest finger painting measures 2101.43 m² (22,619.51 ft²) and was achieved by 3,242 students at an event organised by the Organising Committee of Anti Youth Drug Abuse Campaign at Victoria Park in Hong Kong, China, on 26 November 2009. The finger painting is 60.7 m (199 ft 1.76 in) long, 43.62 m(143 ft 1.32 in) wide, carrying the anti-drug slogan “Not Now, Not Ever. Say No to Drugs!”.
The largest fine ever was one of $650 million (œ335 million), which was imposed on the US securities house Drexel Burnham Lambert in December 1988 for insider trading. This figure represented $300 million (œ164 million) in direct fines, with the balance to be put into an account to satisfy claims of parties that could prove they were defrauded by Drexel’s actions.

If cases of elephantiasis are excluded, then the biggest feet currently known are those of Brahim Takioullah (Morocco, b.1982) whose left foot measures 38.1 cm (1 ft 3 in) and right foot measures 37.5 cm (1 ft 2.76 in). The measurements were taken in Paris, France, on 24 May 2011. Brahim Takioullah is also the 2nd tallest man after Sultan Kösen. He was measured by Dr Philippe Chanson.
The largest fishing tournament is 3,752 participants, achieved at the Bagdad Beach Sea Fishing Tournament, organised by Gobierno Municipal 2011-2013 H. Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico and Promotora de Pesca Deportiva SA de CV (both Mexico) in Bagdad Beach, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on 9 September 2012 Registration for the event began on 8 September 2012, the day before the event, due to the large amount of participants involved. The largest fishing lure had a length of 4.74 m (15 ft 6.72 in), a width of 67.97 cm (2 ft 2.76 in), and a height of 48.77 cm (1 ft 7.2 in), and was created by Ethan Sparks (USA), in West, Texas, USA, on 8 August 2013. Ethan added hooks to the bottom of the lure to match those present on the original fishing lure he replicated. They measured 85.34 cm (2.80 ft) tall and 68.28 cm (2 ft 2.88 in) long.
The world’s largest fishcake was made by ASDA and Young’s Bluecrest weighing 36.65 kg (80.79 lb) and was displayed at the ASDA supermarket, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, UK on 9 October 2003. The width of the fishcake was 8.7 m (28.54 ft) and the height was 8.7 cm (3.42 in)
The largest fish stew weighed 3,020.02 kg (6,658 lb) and was achieved by the University of Massachusetts Dining Services in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, on 3 September 2011. The pan used to cook the stew measured 4.27 meters (14 feet) in diameter and was custom-made for a 2011 record attempt at Largest Stir Fry. The recipe, developed by Chef Jet Tila, included cod, muscles, lobster, salmon and clams.
The largest number of vessels to start the annual Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is 371 in 1994. Of those, 309 finished the race.
