The world’s smallest toilet, ‘Chisai Benjo’ in Japanese, was created by Takahashi Kaito of SII Nanotechnology Inc, Japan.

Created by etching a silicon substrate with an ion beam, the development will no doubt be welcomed by future generations of nano-robots. A scanning electron micrograph of the creation won the Most Bizarre Award at the 49th International Conference on Electron, Ion and Photo Beam Technology and Nanofabrication Bizarre/Beautiful Micrograph Contest.
