Richard P Synergy flew a kite to an altitude of approximately 4,422 m (14,509 ft) above the point of take-off on 12 August 2000 near Kincardine, Ontario, Canada. The highest score in a figure skating long programme (women) is 150.06, and was achieved by Yu-Na Kim (South Korea) at the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 25 February 2010. This is the highest score in the long programme for a woman since the new scoring system was adopted in 2003.
