The largest Black Forest gateau weighed 2,963 kg (6,532 lb) and was made by the patissier Hans-Dieter Busch of the K & U Bakery (K & U Bäckerei GmbH) and displayed at the ice skating arena of Europa-Park, in Rust, Germany, on 16 July 2006.
The largest bottle cap sculpture consists of 135,211 used metal bottles and was created by Daniel Werner Block (Germany), in Petersberg, Germany, on 22 June 2012. The bottle cap sculpture is in a shape of a bottle and is 2.65 m (8.69 ft) tall and has a total weight of 360 kg (793.66 lb). It took two years to create the bottle.
The largest bottle cap mosaic consisted of 3,614,468 bottle caps and was created by students at the Freiherr vom Stein School (all Germany) in Hessisch Lichtenau, Germany, from 23 to 26 June 2010. The mosaic had a total area of 3,124 m². The mosaic depicted a variety of pictures surrounding the initials of the school (FvSS).
The largest bouquet was made from 156,940 roses. It was created by and displayed in NordWestZentrum shopping mall in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on 29 September 2005.
The largest brass band consisted of 15,761 musicians who gathered to play during mass at an event organised by the Evangelische Posaunendienst in Deutschland e.V. at the WM Stadium, in Leipzig, Germany, on 1 June 2008. The conductor was in the middle of the field and the musicians followed him through a giant screen. Due to the vastness of the stadium, there was a 2 second delay between conductor and music.
The largest broom (t-shaped) measured 11.68 m long (38 ft 3.84 in) and 6.04 m (19 ft 9.8 in) wide and was manufactured by Liane Scharnefski-Karle and Armin Karle and their team (all Germany) in Bad Schussenried-Kürnbach, Germany, on 29 April 2007. The largest car seat measures 3.4 m (11 ft 2 in) high, 2.17 m (7 ft 2 in) wide and 2.54 m (8 ft 4 in) deep. The seat was made for the Lust am Auto Exhibition in Mannheim, Germany, in September 2004. The seat was acquired at auction by Hemhofen Primary School, Hemhofen, Bavaria, Germany, and measured on 10 December 2006.
The greatest number of audio discs in a boxed set of recordings by a single instrumentalist is 142, achieved by Arthur Rubinstein – The Complete Album Collection (Sony Music), produced by Robert Russ and released on 7 November 2011. The set includes a hardback illustrated biography of Arthur Rubinstein.
