The most chrysanthemum blooms on a single stem is 4,351 and was achieved by Yoshiteru Nomura (Japan) at All Japan Chrysanthemum Exhibition, Izumi-shi, Osaka, Japan, on 4 November 2011. The chrysanthemum plant measured 4.5 m (14ft 9 in)high and 2.2 m (7 ft 2 in) wide. Six chrysanthemum experts from Japan National Chrysanthemum Society counted the blooms.

The most consecutive at-bats in one Nippon Professional Baseball inning by a team is 11 and was achieved by the Yakult Swallows against the Orix Buffaloes (both Japan) in the fifth inning at the Kyocera Dome, Osaka, Japan, on 14 June 2009. The inning was a 10-run inning and helped the Swallows to an eventual 14-10 victory. The most consecutive Double Dutch-style skips by a team is 1,401, achieved by alttype (all Japan) in Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan, on 5 August 2012. alttype team members are Fukutaro Sato, Hikaru Kawaminami, Jun Tanizawa, Ryota Mishima and Naojiro Ishikawa.
The most consecutive futsal penalty kicks was 931 in an event organized by Shonan Bellmare Futsal Club (Japan) at Odawara Arena in Odawara, Japan, on 6 February 2011. Of the 931 participants to take a penalty, 313 were successful. The event lasted nearly 2 hr 30 min and featured the same goalkeeper for the duration! Event was monitored by registered futsal referees Hiroi Masatoshi and Sugimoto Yuta (both Japan).
